Rivet welding processing is a basic process in fields such as mechanical manufacturing and steel structure, combining the core technologies of riveting and welding. In actual production, affected by factors such as equipment, technology and operation, various problems are likely to occur, so targeted improvement measures need to be taken to improve processing quality and efficiency.
The most common problems in rivet welding processing include welding cracks, loose riveting, poor weld formation and dimensional deviation. Welding cracks are mostly caused by improper matching of welding materials, excessive welding current or too fast cooling speed, which not only affects the appearance, but also reduces the structural strength and even causes potential safety hazards in severe cases. Loose riveting is caused by unreasonable selection of rivets, mismatch between hole diameter and rivet size, or insufficient riveting force, leading to easy detachment of the connection part.

In view of the above problems, scientific improvement measures need to be taken. In terms of welding, we should strictly select welding materials matching the base metal, reasonably adjust the welding current, voltage and welding speed to avoid local overheating; perform slow cooling treatment after welding to reduce the generation of cracks. During riveting, accurately calculate the hole diameter and rivet size, select the appropriate type of rivet, and use professional tools to control the riveting force to ensure firm connection.
In addition, problems such as poor weld formation and dimensional deviation can be solved by standardizing the operation process, regularly calibrating processing equipment and strengthening the training of operators. At the same time, establish a quality inspection mechanism to conduct full-process control of the processing process and timely detect and handle problems. Through the above measures, the defects in rivet welding processing can be effectively reduced, the processing accuracy and efficiency can be improved, and the stability of product quality can be guaranteed.
